The report of the Australia21 Mindfulness, Empathy and Compassion Forum held in Melbourne on 10 June 2016.

The objective of the day-long forum was to investigate how to apply the skill of mindfulness, the competency of empathy, and the motivation of compassion into the decision making of Australia’s political, industry, health, education, cultural and community sectors by bringing together leading thinkers, policy makers, practitioners and researchers in these areas.

The topics covered focused on mindfulness, empathy and compassion as they apply to economics, management, political decision making, culture, health, mental health, and education. There were two overseas speakers and seven Australian speakers.
