Australia 21 Programs can only be successful with strong partnerships.

Australia 21 hopes soon to reach a steady state budget of $5 million annually which would enable it to support six to eight programs, and develop a network presence in every state and territory of the Commonwealth. Clearly Government funds will be needed if Australia 21 is going to address its objects adequately. But the task needs to be independent of, and begin outside Government, and needs to mobilize goodwill and resources from all sectors of Australian society.
